During your ride, you will admire Nandaimon Gate—the Great South Gate symbolizing the entrance to the Todaiji Temple domain—where you will learn the bowing origin story and feed the deer the proper “Nara way.” Next, explore Todaiji Temple, the biggest wood structure in the world and one of the most impressive temples in the country, to admire the “Daibutsuden,” the biggest bronze Buddha statue in Japan.
