On this half day tour, you will visit two places where you can learn the spirits behind Japanese culture, Shintoism, and Zen philosophy.

ー Discover the spirit behind Japanese culture in Nagoya

Learn the spirit of Japan by immersing yourself in Shintoism at Atsuta Shrine, as well as in Zen philosophy and nature worship at Shirotori Japanese Garden. You’ll learn the basic ideas and customs of Shintoism at the shrine, as well as Japanese landscapes and garden styles at the garden.

This four hour tour brings you a meaningful and refreshing morning.


【Itinerary】

  9:00  Meet at Tourist Information Center in   Nagoya Station    
 9:10 Take Meitetsu train to Atsuta Shrine.   
    After visiting the Shrine, walk 15minutes to Shirotori Garden
    At the garden,   you may try matcha green tea as an option.  

12:30 Take subway to Nagoya Station   
13:00 The tour ends at Nagoya Station
